Figma Acquires Open-Source Headless CMS Payload

Figma is a cloud-based design and prototyping tool primarily used for creating user interfaces and user experiences for web, mobile, and other digital products.

Payload CMS is an open-source headless CMS and application framework built with TypeScript and React/Node.js.

Figma, a cloud-based design tool, has announced the acquisition of Payload, a headless open-source content management system, for an undisclosed price. Payload will remain open source, and the transaction provides a more seamless workflow for designers, developers, and content teams.
